The husband and mother of a judge whom a white supremacist tried to have killed were shot to death. Investigators in Chicago said it is too early to say who committed Monday’s slayings of the husband and mother of Judge Joan Lefkow. Matthew Hale has been convicted of trying to have Lefkow killed in 2003 after she found him in contempt of court.
