The Israeli government adopted a proposal Sunday to offer an improved benefit package to all new immigrants, including those from Western countries. Prime Minister Ariel Sharon told the Cabinet on Sunday that every effort must be made to increase aliyah, which he called “the real answer to all of the problems we face.”
