The Israeli newspaper Ha’aretz’s disclosure that a pop star died of complications from AIDS is creating controversy within the Jewish state that the newspaper violated Ofra Haza’s privacy. Haza, who died in a Tel Aviv hospital last week, had requested that the hospital keep her illness a secret.
