The Jewish community of Poltava, Ukraine, received a plot of land for a future community center. According to Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Segal, Chabad’s emissary in Poltava, the community has long been engaged in negotiations with city authorities regarding the return of Jewish communal property from before World War II.
