The Jewish Publication Society recently received $80,000 from the U.S. National Endowment for the Humanities to publish a book on Jewish folk tales. “Folktales of the Jews,” being edited by Dan Ben-Amos and Dov Noy, documents Jewish culture and folklore in six volumes consisting of 355 tales.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
