The leader of an outlawed, far-right Israeli political party was killed in a shooting attack in the West Bank. Binyamin Ze’ev Kahane, son of the late militant Rabbi Meir Kahane, was killed with his wife, Talia, when Palestinian gunmen riddled their car with bullets near the West Bank settlement of Ofra. Five of the couple’s six children also were wounded.
