The leader of German Jewry warned that right-wing extremism on the Internet is as much a threat to democracy as other forms of terrorism. Paul Spiegel, president of the Central Council of Jews in Germany, said Monday that more than 1,000 Internet sites are spreading “more Nazi propaganda worldwide than ever before.” He said law enforcement officials should crack down hard.
