The mayor of a major West Bank settlement said its expansion would continue, contradicting Israeli officials’ public statements. “We will continue to build according to our master plan, and no one will stop us,” Ma’aleh Adumim Mayor Benny Kashriel told The Jerusalem Post on Thursday, referring to a new residential complex that effectively would link the settlement to Israel’s capital, several miles away.
