The Milwaukee drive to raise this community’s quota of $50,000 for the United Palestine Appeal of 1929 was launched at a dinner on Sunday evening in the Gold Room of the Hotel Wisconsin.

Morris Miller, 82-year-old communal leader, presided and delivered the opening address of the campaign.

The principal speakers were Dr. Nahum Sokolow and Rabbi Solomon Goldman, of the Cleveland Jewish Center.
