They are returning the visit of Egyptian naval units to Haifa last year. The Israeli sailors were welcomed by Israel’s Ambassador to Egypt, Eliahu Ben-Elissar, and Egyptian naval officers. The sailors and officers were luncheon guests of the commander of the Egyptian Navy, Mouhammed Ali Mouhammed. The Israeli sailors were also guests of the Egyptian Jewish community Wednesday.
