The Non-Aligned Movement’s Committee on Palestine opened a meeting in South Africa with calls for an international initiative to end the Israeli-Palestinian bloodshed. Palestinian Authority President Yasser Arafat was expected to address the committee, whose members include Algeria, Bangladesh, Cuba, India, Indonesia, Senegal, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
