The Palestinian Authority arrested 35 suspected supporters of the Islamic Jihad recently, according to a news report. The arrests were motivated by an incident in which a Palestinian was killed by Israeli troops while he was planting a roadside bomb near an Israeli settlement in the Gaza Strip.
