The Palestinian Authority distanced itself from a new round of accusations Suha Arafat made against Israel. The accusations “represent her own point of view, and she is not a member of the Palestinian Authority,” the self-rule government said. In an interview earlier this week, the wife of the Palestinian Authority president said Israeli insecticide factories are dumping toxic waste into urban areas of the Gaza Strip.
