The Palestinian Authority’s president plans to visit Iran. Palestinian officials said Wednesday that Mahmoud Abbas had accepted an invitation to visit Tehran in the near future. Sworn to Israel’s destruction, Iran has been a major backer of the Lebanese terrorist group Hezbollah, as well as Palestinian terrorist groups.
