The Palestinians asked Israel for a four-day period to arrest terrorists. Palestinian Authority officials called Israeli Foreign Minister Shimon Peres and asked for time to round up terrorists before Israel takes military action that might injure Palestinian civilians. If Israel sticks to symbolic responses, the P.A. said it will be able to continue taking action, Ha’aretz reported.
