The president of Switzerland began an official trip to Israel with a visit to the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial in Jerusalem. Flavio Cotti also met with Israeli President Ezer Weizman. Cotti, who also serves as foreign minister, is the first leader of the Swiss government to visit Israel in 13 years.
