The question of the Dead Sea concession was again raised in the House of Commons by Col. Bury who opposes the grant of the concession to Engineer Moses Novomejsky, a Zionist. Col. Bury asked when Mr. Novomejsky made his first application to the Palestine government.

Colonial Secretary Amery replied that the first application was made by Mr. Novomejsky in 1921. In reply to a question by Major Crawford as to whether the delay was due to the fault of the concessionaire, Mr. Amery replied in the negative.
