The Reform movement expressed support for an international gay pride festival in Jerusalem. The Union for Reform Judaism last Friday described the controversial Jerusalem Worldpride 2005 festival, scheduled for this summer, as a “celebration of diversity, tolerance and human dignity,” and said there was no more fitting place to hold the event than Israel’s capital.
