The Reform movement joined a coalition of religious groups who say the Bush administration and its allies are threatening the constitutional separation of church and state. “In recent years the religious right, the Bush administration and some members of Congress have been attempting to tear down the wall between religion and government, putting limits on the Constitutional guarantee of freedom of religion and freedom from religion,” the statement by the Interfaith Alliance said.
