The Reform movement’s synagogue arm changed its name. The 130-year-old Union of American Hebrew Congregations, which represents 920 North American Reform synagogues and an estimated 1.5 million Jews, voted overwhelmingly last Friday to become the Union for Reform Judaism: Serving Reform Congregations in North America.
