The refugee question is still under consideration, Prime Minister Mackenzie King announced yesterday following a Cabinet meeting at which the problem was discussed. He said the government would keep in touch with London on the question. F.C. Blair, head of the Immigration Department, declared that Jewish and other refugees were making inquiries no the possibilities of settling in Northern Alberta as farmers. He said a number of refugees have entered with fortunes ranging from $15,000 to $750,000. Twelve Canadian Jewish leaders visited Prime Minister King yesterday in behalf of Jewish refugees. No statement was issued.
