The Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism urged Wednesday that all Jews act immediately to press their Senators to support a bill allowing members of the armed forces to wear yarmulkes. The legislation is being introduced by Sen. Frank Lautenberg (D. NJ) as an amendment to the Department of Defense Authorization Bill which is currently being considered by the Senate.
