The reports circulated in Geneva that Germany has reached an agreement with Italy to support the latter’s claim for the Palestine mandate, and her claims in South Africa and Abyssinia, were denied in well informed circles in close touch with the German Foreign Office. In a statement issued to the correspondent of the Jewish Teegraphie Agency here the reports of the London Daily Express concerning this agreement between Stresemenn and Mussolini were termed “sheer fantasy.”
