The Senate Armed Services Committee has proposed “a permanent dialogue on issues of mutual interest” with the Knesset’s Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee. It called for an annual exchange of visits by members of the two committees. The suggestion was made by Sen. John Tower (R. Tex.) chairman of the Armed Services Committee in a letter to the Knesset body.
