The State Department said the killing of innocents “has got to stop” as part of the effort toward ending the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. State Dept. Spokesman Philip Reeker called on Israel and the Palestinian Authority on Tuesday to meet the commitments they have made under the “road map” peace plan and work toward ending the killing of innocents.
