The U.N. Commission on Human Rights passed three resolutions condemning Israel. America stood alone in vetoing all of the resolutions, which passed Tuesday. Among them was a resolution sponsored by the African and Arab nations, which passed 33-5, criticizing Israel’s “gross violation of human rights and international humanitarian law” and “acts of mass killing perpetrated by the Israeli occupying authorities against the Palestinian people” and legitimized struggle against foreign occupation “by all available means, including armed struggle.”
