The U.S. government released a Palestinian who had been held for three years in jail without being charged with a crime. But U.S. Attorney General Janet Reno said last Friday that Mazen Al-Najjar, who the government believes is linked to Middle East terrorist groups, may be deported soon. Al-Najjar had been living illegally in the United States for several years before he was arrested.
