The U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington will open a special exhibition Thursday to honor a Japanese diplomat who saved some 6,000 Jews from persecution by Nazi Germany. The exhibition for the late Chiune Sugihara, “Flight and Rescue,” will run for two years, museum officials said.
