The U.S. House of Representatives overwhelmingly passed a resolution supporting Israel in its conflicts in Lebanon and the Gaza Strip. The resolution, which passed Thursday by a vote of 410-8, came after the Senate passed a similar resolution Tuesday. The resolution “supports Israel’s right to take appropriate action to defend itself, including to conduct operations both in Israel and in the territory of nations which pose a threat to it.”
