The UJA-Federation of New York is funding a volunteer group that is rebuilding bomb shelters in northern Israel. The federation granted $1.65 million this week to Livnot U’Lehibanot, a group that draws Diaspora Jewish volunteers, many of them from North America, into learning and volunteering in northern Israel.
