The umbrella group of North American federations intends to administer a tax-exempt bond pool for member federations. The resolution for the national pool won initial approval Wednesday from the United Jewish Communities’ Board of Trustees. James Tisch, UJC’s board chairman, called it a “very momentous step for UJC.”
