The umbrella organization of British Jewry blasted the Red Cross for criticizing Israel’s West Bank security barrier. Neville Nagler, director general of the Board of Deputies, accused the aid agency of abandoning its traditional neutrality by implying that the protection of Palestinian property should take precedence over the protection of Israeli lives.
