The United States should put an aide to Yasser Arafat on trial for murder, a Jewish group said. The Zionist Organization of America called on Attorney General John Ashcroft to indict and extradite Ahmed Jbarra, whom the Palestinian Authority president appointed last month as a special adviser on prisoner issues. Israel sentenced Jbarra to life in prison for a 1975 bombing in downtown Jerusalem that killed 14 people, including a U.S. citizen, Rivka Ben-Yitzhak, 35.
