There appears to be some disagreement over who will serve as the PLO’s representative in Washington. Hanna Siniora, the publisher of the weekly Jerusalem Times, says Palestinian Authority President Yasser Arafat offered him the job, and he has already given interviews about his plans once in Washington. But the person currently holding the posting, Hassan Abdel Rahman, says no one informed him that he is being replaced, and accuses Siniora of lying about the appointment.
