There should be congressional hearings to see if Jews who fled Arab countries should receive financial compensation, a U.S. congressman said. Frank Pallone (D-N.J.) told members of Congress that the nearly one million Jews who fled Arab countries upon the creation of the State of Israel in 1948 have never received justice, the Jerusalem Post reported.
