There were mixed results in a recently conducted poll on Russian attitudes toward Jews. Some 18 percent of Russian believe that Jews have too much influence over Russian society, according to the survey, which was sponsored by the Russian Jewish congress. But 73 percent said they had an overall positive attitude toward Jews.
