Three families filed complaints against a Tel Aviv physician, asserting that he impersonated a mohel, or someone who performs ritual circumcisions, according to the Israeli newspaper Ha’aretz. Dr. Dov Levin, who has a temporary license to practice medicine, is reportedly not deemed a qualified mohel by the Israeli Chief Rabbinate.
