Three Jewish Community Leaders in South Africa Receive Important Appointments

Two prominent Jewish communal leaders are listed among the latest appointments of King’s Counsellors. They are: Gerald Gorbon, a leading Zionist of Capetown who distinguished himself in the war, and J. Friedman of Durban, chairman of the public relations committee of the Council of Hatal Jewry. Edgar Henochsberg of Durban, honorary president of the Council of Hatal Jewry, was appointed an acting judge.
