Three minor earthquakes shook the Eilat area last week in the fourth series of shocks and tremors in the region during the past week. In all, over a dozen tremors have been recorded by Israeli seismologists. But even in Eilat and its immediate area, most residents did not know they had experienced an earthquake until they heard about it on their radios. No damage or casualties have been reported. The center of the quake activity has been at Nueiba, some 25 miles south of Eilat.
