Three of 13 Iranian Jews arrested last year and accused of spying for Israel and the United States were released on bail. “We consider this a positive move, but it’s very little and very late,” said Malcolm Hoenlein, executive vice chairman of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations. “While we welcome this, we hope all 13 are allowed out and more importantly that the charges be dropped and they be allowed to return to their lives.” One of the three is 16 years old, Hoenlein added.
