Maurice Falk, founder of the $10,000,000 foundation for education and welfare work, has been elected to membership in the American Civic Association for distinguished civic service to the community. He was one of nine Pittsburghers who were thus honored.
Leo Lehman and Albert C. Lehman were the two other Jews named. The former was appointed to the body for his important service in support of city planning and roadside improvement. The latter’s appointment was the result of his work as a civic educator and a patron of the arts.
