Three Political Parties in Brazil Name Jews to Run in National and State Elections

Dr. Horacio Lafer, prominent Sao Paulo Jew, was today named by the Social Democratic Party of Brazil as its candidate here for the coming elections to the Federal Parliament.

Dr. Moyses Kauffmann, the founder of the Jewish Federation in Sao Paulo, was named by the Democratic National Party as candidate for the Sao Paulo state parliament. Dr. Rodolpho Schraiber, vice-president of the Jewish Federation, was named as candidate for the state parliament by the Social Progressive Party.
