Jordanians fired on Israeli forces along the demarcation line in three separate incidents today but no casualties were sustained, a military spokesman reported today. An Israel Army jeep was fired on as it moved along the Arava road near Beer Orah in the Negev. The fire was not returned and the occupants escaped unhurt. Several hours later, Jordanians again fired on Israelis in the same region. This time the fire was returned in an exchange that lasted almost an hour. In the evening, Jordanians opened fire from the Umm Shurt region, north of Jericho, precipitating a 15 minute exchange with Israeli units.
