Three young Jews are building an archive of Bar and Bat Mitzvah paraphernalia to offer a view of late 20th-century U.S. Jewry. Jules Shell, Roger Bennett and Nick Kroll estimate they have received 30,000 bits of such memorabilia from across the United States, some of which is online at www.barmitzvahdisco.com.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
