(Jewish Telegraphic Agency)

The hot springs of Tiberias cannot be considered municipal property but are national property. This was the ruling of Lord Plumer, the High Commissioner, in the dispute between the municipality of Tiberias and the Palestine government.

The High Commissioner rejected the plea of the Tiberias municipality and ordered the demolition of buildings near the springs. A concession for the development of the springs along modern lines will soon be granted by the government, it was stated.
