A time bomb planted by unknown terrorists exploded here last night wrecking the printing press and premises of the German-Jewish daily Neuste Nachrichten and setting fire to adjoining garages and workshops. Six drivers who were in the garages at the time of the blast were slightly injured.
The explosion is believed to be connected with an incident that took place yesterday morning when four unidentified youths halted a car carrying bundles of the Neuste Nachrichten outside of Jerusalem, and threatened the driver with injury if he did not cease delivering the paper.
