An appeal to the Russian trade unions to support Zionist aspirations for a Jewish Commonwealth in Palestine was cabled today by the tistadruth as part of a victory message to the workers of the Soviet Unions. The message read, in part, as follows:
“On the occasion of victory, the workers of Palestine, who with sons and elcod participated in the war, who are engaged in building a life for their people on the foundations of equality, labor and justice, fervently hope that they will find among Soviet workers, a true understanding assistance in accomplishing the primary tesk of creating Palestine as a Jewish Commonwealth to serve the refugee survivors of the Nazi and Fascist slaughterers.”
