Rabbis and lay leaders of the Jewish communities are represented on the California committee appointed to direct the observance of Church Week, in which all creeds will participate late this month. Jewish members are Rabbis William M. Stern, Max J. Merritt, Irving F. Reichert, Elliot M. Burstein, Mrs. M. C. Sloss, Mrs. Nat Kessler, Sol Silverman, Bernard Silverstein and Louis J. Breuner.
