The Keren Kayemeth (Jewish National Fund) has set aside 1,000 dunams of land in the Wadi Hawareth area for settlement by German Jews, it was announced here yesterday.
The allocation of the land was made possible by a recent decision of the courts here, settling a long-drawn-out land dispute in favor of Keren Kayemeth.
Fifty German Jewish families, newly arrived from Germany, are expected to be able to settle on the new land.
