The trial of Capt. Panisoara and three gendarmes of the Czernowitz police, charged with torturing Samson Bronstein, secretary of the Poale Zion in Yedinez, was scheduled to take jlace here today but was postponed for the tenth time.

The court set July 2 for the trial.

Samson Bronstein was arrested in May, 1932, on charges of being identified with Communist activities. The charges proved groundless. During his examination he was subjected to six hours of torture which sent him to a hospital for several months. It was feared that he would never walk again. He has, however, recovered.

The three gendarmes and Captain Panisoara have so far pleaded not guilty.
